UK Part 1 : Glimpse On London

Winter break started on 14^th feb till 25^th feb. Mase kitorang dah abis exam uni lain kat mesir ni dah pun start kuliah. Selalunya macam tulah. Jadual cuti berbeza. Alex uni selalunya paling lambat cuti. Tak kiralah winter break mahupun summer break. Summer break last year org lain cuti almost 3months but we only got a month and half. Kdg2 rase geram jugaklah. Kita tgh exam, kwn2 kita sibuk duk update status holiday dorang. Nasiblah kan.

So, during winter break, we planned to go to uk. Mind you, it’s not really a proper plan cause we actually plan for another trip, but that trip cancelled last minute. Mungkin Allah tak kasi kitorang pergi lagi sbb tak betul2 mentally and physically prepared. Mungkin jugak Allah nak suruh kitorang rasa lagi kuat nak pergi ke sana in the future. Ape2 pun just hoping that He would give u the best. Oops, salah tu, He SURE give u the best! ^^

Harga tiket lebih kurang 2930le (2way) by Egypt Air (mcm dah takde airline line je). Pastu merempat kat airport or specifically Burger King (tmpt tido while waiting for departure). Nasib waiter kedai tu tak halau je. Haha. Pagi besoknya, waktu nak check passport tu paling tak suka sbb pakcik tu akan belek passport lalu mendapati kitorang takde visa. Masalah biasa yg dihadapi oleh students kat Egypt. So mmg dari awal lagila prepare siap2 153le (denda). Selepas sesi bersoaljawab dgn pakcik tu, dia bagi pelepasan, tak payah bayar denda. Yelah, bukannya salah kita. Syukur.

Lebih kurang 1pm, we arrived at Heathrow Airport. A bit late actually, flight from Egypt to London usually takes 5hours. Beza masa pulak, Egypt 2hours awal dari London. Alhamdulillah dapat tunaikan solat kat airport even in a multifaith room. Then, we took tube to Victoria Station. Tube ni lebih kurang LRT. Pantas dan effisyen gitu. Malam tu naik bas ke Cardiff, 16pounds at Victoria Coach Station. Agak mahal sbb tak beli online (takde credit card). Zaman skrg semua benda guna credit card. Cepat dan murah. Bila entah Bank Misr nak maju sikit, buat credit card. Coach yg popular kat London biasenya National Express or Megabus. Kalau pergi dgn tour guide, masalah penginapan dan transportations konfem setel. Kalau pegi sendiri, kenalah pandai setelkan sendiri. Thanks to u, pakcik gugel.

Kitorang tak sempat nak masuk London Eye, located at the side of Thames River. Kalau pergi waktu pagi, ade London Eye River Cruise, which takes 40mins. Sea Life London Aquarium pun ade kat kwsn ni jugak. Byk jugak park sekitar area ni tapi sbb dah malam so tak best pergi park sbb gelap gelita (apesal byk sgt repetition sbb ni? lantakla). 


Big Ben is one of the tower of Palace of Westminster, also known as Houses of Parliament. It holds the largest four-faced chiming clock in the world and the third-tallest free-standing clock tower. At first, confuse jugak ni ke Big Ben yg femes tu? Ingatkan clock tower biasa je. See, sbb tu kita kena berjalan, bagi minda tu terbukak sikit.
